Yesterday was a good but long day. We started up at 4:30 EST and, of course Erika was *so* excited about being on an airplane that she didn't sleep at all the first flight... she really was fun to watch. We met up with Nana and Papa in the Charlotte airport...

I thought I'd send a quick post letting you all know what our schedule looks like for the next few days.... Thursday: We leave our house around 5:45 AM EST. We'll fly to Charlotte where we'll meet Nana and Papa (my parents). We'll then fly to Guatemala...

Today we got up early, grabbed a quick bite, and Julie, Matt and I met our case worker at 7:45 for a quick run over to the US Embassy (only about 4 or 5 blocks from the hotel). Once through security, we sat in line while our case worker stood in line...
